01 Mar 2023 Annual Meeting with Thrun model farm, Wes Licht as Volunteer of the Year
Former McFarland Community Life editor Tom Thrun was the guest speaker at the McFarland Historical Society’s annual meeting at the library on Sunday, March 5th at 1 pm. While in Covid isolation, Tom built a model farm based on the actual Thrun family farm located at Siggelkow and Hwy AB where he grew up. Tom gave an illustrated presentation about the various activities on that farm. This may be familiar to those of you who were farm kids and an eye opener for those of you who were not.
