Lobby Displays

The Museum Lobby features displays that change periodically, such as “School Days,”  “The Lure of the Lakes,” “The Railroad,” “The Dairy Industry,”  “Main Street McFarland,”   “Horse Power,”  “Horsepower,” “Early Automobiles,” and the “McFarland Family.” In 2012 and 2013 the theme was “Wisconsin in the Civil War.”  In 2014 we celebrated the 50th anniversary of the McFarland Historical Society by recalling trends, fashions and events of 1964, the year of our incorporation.  From 2015 through 2017 we recognized the 100th anniversary of the Great War with our theme of “Wisconsin in World War I.”

Local collectors have been very generous by loaning some of their treasured artifacts for our special lobby and window displays.
