22 Nov 2025 – Decorating the Larson House for Victorian Christmas
We had a couple days of volunteering this week. On the first day, volunteers got our trees and decorations out of the attic and set them up. On the second day, volunteers decorated the trees and set up other holiday decor both inside and outside the house.
We want to give a big thanks to our tree and tub movers : Tim, Wes, Travis, Melanie, Sylvia, and Mike Flaherty. Thanks to our decorators who did a lovely job in every room: Mary Jo, Thelma, Carol T., Linda, Rosalie, Cheryl, Carol B, Deb, Marlene, Jane, Emily, Melanie and Michael. And thanks to Joe Larson for stopping by with his helpful wife and for giving us moral support. It takes a big crew to do the setup and takedown, and we appreciate all of your hard work!
We also want to thank the volunteers who will be giving free guided tours of the Larson House throughout December, and the volunteers dropping off home-baked cookies for guests to enjoy. This last group includes: Thelma, Jane, Cheri S., Sharon J, Sheryl R, Rose R, Carol T, Marlene R, Sue F, Deb B, Carol B, Melanie R, Gail A. And Cheri is going a step further by being at the LHM to accept the cookies as they are delivered. Thanks to all of you!
