25 Jul 2017 Strawberry Shortcake Social Successful!
The 2017 Strawberry Shortcake Social held June 18 was a huge success. Homemade shortcake piled high with freshly picked strawberries and ice cream and whipped cream delighted the many visitors to the Larson House Museum grounds. 
The event was a Society fund raiser and also celebrated father’s day. Quite a few youngsters were brave enough to use the microphone and talk about their great dads. The Door Creek Duo Plus One delighted everyone with their toe-tapping music. 
Canines Dash and Copper showed off their circus dog tricks thanks to professional trainer Sharon Yildiz. McFarland High School graduate Rhetta Hanson-Cook’s lovely voice was enchanting. Outdoor games and house tours were also enjoyed by many visitors. Look for next year’s event – you won’t want to miss it!
