The McFarland Historical Society plans to restore the Queen Anne Victorian home to its former glory. Located prominently on the corner of Bashford and Exchange Streets (6003 Exchange), many local residents watched helplessly as the structure was neglected and deteriorated for 20 years. The siding is in very poor condition and will be replaced with new wood siding that is rounded and fluted on the exposed side to closely resemble the original boards milled in the same fashion. Those who “Buy a Board” will help pay for this siding and be listed as “Board Buyers” in this house museum.
